SYF Countdown:48 more days
Guys as you can see SYF is only 7 weeks from now. Please bring your instruments back and practice. Please try your best during the practices and make it a habit to always have self-discipline especially during sectionals, even if your senior is there take the initiative to help your section. This morning it was so much better, so continue to work hard. SLs try to arrange extra practices for you sections, on Thursday if you are not involved in teaching the sec 1s please use the time to practice. It's just for 7 more weeks guys, bear it. I hope to see more improvement in the band and please respect your seniors, i always see juniors talking back or showing disrespect to their seniors. SLs always go to band or start a practise by asking or telling your section, "Do you think you are ready for SYF?" Have a mindset and a goal that by today i want to accomplish or polish up this part here and there.
I believe that Montfort band can achieve a Gold award still, so please work towards it, not as one but as a band. Juniors if you SLs or seniors are not there, you yourself must teach your section, make a difference. If those members are not always in band encourage or inspire them to come.
I hope that everyone can do their part.
For those who know about the blog please tell it to the sec 1s or to the members who don't know about it. This will ensure that communication in the band is strengthen and that they would not miss out on these kind of issues.
All for one, one for all, one band, one sound...
